The perennial, permanently green agave has long been known to humanity for its medicinal properties. Aloe leaves and their juice are often used in the treatment of various diseases and for hair care at home.

Benefits of Aloe Vera for Hair

The benefit of the plant for hair is that during the cosmetic procedure, the strands are intensively moisturized, the follicles and the entire hair shaft are nourished. Thanks to these properties, agave is used to moisturize hair and dry ends. In addition, aloe is effective against hair loss and other ailments.

The secret of aloe vera is:

    • beta-carotene, which is converted to vitamin A;
    • ascorbic acid, vitamins E and group B;
    • allotin;
    • flavonoids.

Using aloe for hair

Folk recipes usually take leaves from the bottom of a flower that has reached 3 years of age. They are cut off, wiped with a clean cloth and added to hair masks. To increase the benefits of aloe juice for hair, cut leaves are placed in the refrigerator for 10 days. This produces biostimulated juice, which is several times more beneficial. If there is no agave in the house, you can purchase a ready-made gel in a store or pharmacy. When caring for your hair at home, you can use the juice by adding it to various cosmetic formulations, rubbing it into the roots and leaving it overnight. During hair restoration, prepare shampoo with aloe or add plant jelly to store-bought shampoo.

Oil that is infused with medicinal herbs is called macerate. Aloe macerate has the same beneficial substances as the juice of a fresh plant, only it is stored longer. It is used to stop inflammatory processes on the skin, cleanse bacteria and fungi, restore structure, nourish, soften and moisturize, and stimulate the regrowth of strands. Apply the macerate to the roots of the hair, distribute it clean over the length, or enrich the mask. You can make it yourself without much difficulty.

For those who do not have agave growing on their windowsill, drug manufacturers produce aloe in ampoules. The liquid in the ampoule is a concentrated, fragrance-free extract that has undergone high-quality filtration. A mask with an ampoule in combination with castor oil provides gentle care for curls. Such a nourishing mask will help restore curls and stop breakouts. Homemade masks with extract give results no worse than homemade juice, as they contain the same vitamins.

Aloe gel for hair

Aloe hair treatment is carried out not only with juice or extract, but also with gel. The best masks include a gel in the list of ingredients, which is not that difficult to make at home.

The finished gel is transferred into a tightly closed jar and stored in the refrigerator for no more than 3 weeks. Before use, concentrated aloe gel is diluted with water in a ratio of 1:5 and used for its intended purpose. Any hair mask is incomplete without such a component.

Aloe tincture for hair

Important advice from the editors

If you want to improve the condition of your hair, you should pay special attention to the shampoos you use. A frightening figure - 97% of shampoos from well-known brands contain substances that poison our body. The main components due to which all the troubles on the labels are designated as sodium lauryl sulfate, sodium laureth sulfate, coco sulfate. These chemicals destroy the structure of the curls, the hair becomes brittle, loses elasticity and strength, and the color fades.

But the worst thing is that this nasty stuff gets into the liver, heart, lungs, accumulates in organs and can cause cancer. We advise you not to use products that contain these substances. Recently, experts from our editorial team conducted an analysis of sulfate-free shampoos, where products from Mulsan Cosmetic took first place. The only manufacturer of completely natural cosmetics. All products are manufactured under strict quality control and certification systems. We recommend visiting the official online store mulsan.ru. If you doubt the naturalness of your cosmetics, check the expiration date; it should not exceed one year of storage.
