The process of breaking fast: how to create a menu. Three-day fasting on water: reviews, results and way out

Gone are the days when there were heated debates about the benefits of fasting. Now the passions have subsided. The calm was facilitated not only by the conclusions of scientists, but also by the reviews of many, many people who experienced the influence of dosed hunger.

The basis of the system is one-day fasting, a more advanced level is 3 days. And if the first type rarely causes difficulties, then beginners have difficulties with the second.

Let's look at the three-day “starvation diet” by answering pressing questions so that any beginner can carry out the first procedure painlessly.

First, the rule: The first three-day fast is preceded by 2–3 months of weekly one-day fasts. This way the body will prepare for the upcoming break in nutrition, and the reactions of the fasting person will be more adequate.

It’s a good idea to keep in mind the benefits of three days of fasting:

  • removal of metabolic products from the body (so-called “slags”);
  • disappearance or reduction of edema;
  • weight loss;
  • health improvement, care or alleviation of illnesses;
  • increasing vitality and gaining energy.

Fasting 3 days: how to enter

1) The procedure is more similar than different from the daily procedure. Therefore, no special “entrance” is needed. Moreover, it is unlikely that you will be able to “scare” your body greatly with the toxins being rejected, because the preparatory months have yielded their results.

It’s another matter if the breaks between hunger were devoted to “food debauchery.” For such people it is necessary first establish proper nutrition and again go through weekly fasting , and only then start a three-day hunger strike.

2) There is an opinion that the procedure should be preceded by an enema or laxative.

At the same time, enemas are contraindicated for some, while others refuse from an aesthetic point of view.

The use of a laxative is also not always advisable, especially if for several months a person has been eating properly and in moderation, regularly going on fasting days.

The decision about the need for enemas and laxatives is made independently and taking into account your own opinion, and then experience. Moreover, our body is a self-regulating and self-tuning system that can take care of its own cleansing.

3) Before directly entering therapeutic fasting It is enough to eat plant foods and/or low-fat fermented milk products during the day.

4) You can have your last meal at any time of the day. If you plan to fast for exactly 3 days, it is better to have your last meal in the evening. The way out of fasting will be closely related to this.

Where to spend

For those who have some experience and do not notice discomfort, it is best to do so at work, study, that is, without interrupting their usual activities.

How to conduct

1) The first procedures are only on the water. As you gain experience, you can devote part of your time to dry fasting.

Sample diagrams:

  • the first and third days - on the water (W), the second - dry (SG);
  • the first - GV, the second and third - SG;
  • the first and second are SG, the third are GV.

2) Physical activity is required , which “kills” several birds with one stone:

  • the body is given to understand that muscles cannot be “eat”;
  • Accordingly, fat and diseased tissues will be “eaten up” with the simultaneous removal of “embedded” metabolic products;
  • “entry” into famine will occur faster.

Therefore, engage in a lighter version of your usual physical education, loading, if possible, more muscles.

Not everything will go smoothly. Out of habit, it’s hard to force yourself to move on the second, and even more so on the third, days, but over time this difficulty will disappear.

Breaking a three-day fast

1) The first meal occurs at any time of the day.

After eating for the first time in the morning and going to work, there is a high probability of uncomfortable moments:

  • it is possible that the body will react with an upset stomach what can happen on the way to the office;
  • It’s not easy to cope with the desire to “fill” your belly , therefore, sleep is one of the effective ways to avoid being “eye to eye” with a glutton;
  • difficult to work productively when all your thoughts are about food.

2) The first day after the 3rd day of fasting Raw vegetables and fruits are recommended. The next day, porridge (oatmeal, barley, buckwheat), boiled vegetables, and nuts are added to the diet. And on the third - the transition to normal nutrition. By “regular” we mean proper nutrition.

This is a sample food list. You can include fermented milk products (starting from the first day) and cottage cheese (from the second). It all depends on personal preferences and body characteristics, which with practice you will learn to feel.

Parting remarks

  1. Do not start fasting days without proper . By leaving the race, you will harm not only your body, but also your personal psychology. And breakdowns are fraught with subsequent intemperance in eating.
  2. Maintain a positive attitude and good mood . Physical condition is largely determined by internal mood.
  3. Don't feel sorry for yourself , even when you feel worse than ever. In most cases, poor health during the few fasting days is the fruit of self-hypnosis.

You will succeed!

Some methods of long-term fasting involve the use of both types. Sometimes fasting days on juices and vegetable decoctions are called fasting, which is essentially not true. In this article we will talk about water fasting- the least extreme form of fasting.

Water fasting- this is a complete refusal of food (in solid or liquid form). Simply put, we don’t eat anything and drink only clean water at room temperature in sufficient quantity.

Important: The amount of water that you drink during your normal diet will not be enough during fasting! After all, solid food also contains water - when fasting, you should replenish the amount of water that usually comes with food! It is impossible to give exact recommendations on exactly how much water you should drink. Just drink more often. Sufficient intake of water helps eliminate toxins and prevents possible complications during fasting.

Something else important: While fasting, do not use a toothbrush or toothpaste to clean your teeth - the enamel may be damaged due to changes in the composition of saliva during fasting. Wipe your teeth with gauze and rinse your mouth with a decoction of chamomile and St. John's wort so as not to remove plaque that protects tooth enamel.

WATER FASTING

Fasting in some cases can pose a danger to health and life. At the same time, fasting is such an effective way to cleanse and heal the body that it can help you achieve ideal health and youth, recover from many diseases, including the most severe ones, and save lives. This article is for informational purposes only and the author is not responsible for the use of this information.

Fasting can last from one day to... several months, or even years. True, in this case it is no longer fasting, but a certain way of eating - life without food. The determining factor is the duration water fasting. How many days the fast lasts depends on:

  • How water fasting works- what processes occur in the body.
  • Result of water fasting- cleansing the body, losing weight, healing and rejuvenation.
  • The dangers of starvation on water- precautions and possible negative consequences of fasting, which can be extremely serious if these precautions are not followed.
  • Exit from water fasting- an extremely important moment.

So, let's look at what happens at each stage of water fasting (at different durations of fasting):

1. Food break for up to 24 hours.

A food break lasting less than 24 hours is not fasting.

2. One-day fasting on water.

The health benefits of one-day fasting:

  • increasing immunity,
  • cleansing the body
  • rejuvenation of the body,
  • improvement of intestinal microflora.

The health benefits of one-day fasting accumulate with regular repetition, but the result is noticeable after the first fast. Regular one-day fasting on water, practiced weekly for 1 - 3 months, and are, among other things, good preparation for longer fasts.

What happens during a one-day fast:

  1. A one-day fast gives rest to the digestive system. A lot of energy is spent on the digestion process. When the constant supply of food is interrupted, the body receives the opportunity and energy to begin cleansing processes.
  2. The putrefactive intestinal microflora dies, and the flora of fermented milk fermentation is healed and preserved, as a result, the synthesis of biologically active substances in the intestine improves.

Preparing for a one-day fast:

  • One week before fasting give up the most harmful foods that contain a lot of food additives and reduce your consumption of meat, eggs and dairy products. Drink more clean water, completely avoid alcohol and drinks with harmful food additives.
  • The day before fasting do not pass on and refuse meat (if you have not done so before) - among other things, it greatly slows down the digestion process and will be digested during the fasting period, which will reduce the positive effect of fasting, increase the feeling of hunger and other unpleasant side effects that occur during fasting.
  • Plan your first fast on weekend. It’s good if you are not at home, near the refrigerator. Don't do your first fast at work! And the second too :) When fasting becomes a habit for you, you can fast at work - no one will notice.
  • On the day of fasting You can do an enema to cleanse the intestines. Spend more time outdoors. It is good to do physical exercises (they will help cleanse the body of toxins). But don't overexert yourself. Do water procedures.

What should you expect during a one-day fast?

Those who have ever been on a low-calorie diet will be pleasantly surprised that the feeling of hunger during a water fast is much weaker. As you know, appetite comes with eating, so not eating at all is easier than eating a little.

Blood supply to the brain improves, which has a beneficial effect on mental activity and creativity.

  • weakness,
  • dizziness,
  • headache,
  • feeling of nausea,
  • coating on the tongue, bad breath (sometimes from the body),
  • Bad mood.

With practice ( during regular one-day fasting), unpleasant phenomena will decrease, some of them will disappear. The effect of fasting on mood will most likely become positive - the mood will stabilize, fasting will cause an increase in mood.

Exit from one-day fasting:

  • End your fast in the evening. A one-day fast should last at least 24 hours, and preferably at least 2-3 hours longer.
  • To break a one-day fast, fresh vegetables, fruits, as well as vegetable and fruit juices are best suited. It’s good to eat a salad (for example, cabbage and carrots) with a spoon of high-quality vegetable oil (olive, flaxseed, etc.). You can also eat boiled or stewed vegetables.
  • In the evening and the next day, try not to eat animal products: meat, eggs, milk and dairy products.
  • After you come out of fasting, try not to overeat - this is the most difficult thing and in the beginning almost no one succeeds.
  • Continue to drink more clean water and avoid eating foods with harmful additives.

Small mistakes and deviations from the rules when breaking a one-day fast do not matter much.

The dangers of one-day fasting:

One-day fasting is practically not dangerous for a healthy person, even if carried out without proper preparation. For example, in Judaism there is a fast (Judgment Day), which is observed by almost everyone, even non-religious residents of Israel - on this day dry fasting is carried out (without food and without water). “Preparation” and “exit” from this one-day fast is a rich feast, which in no way corresponds to the recommendations described above. Such fasting does not provide a healing effect, rather the opposite. But it does not pose any particular danger, despite the fact that it is carried out without water, in hot climatic conditions.

3. 2 and 3 day fasting on water.

When can you do a 2-3 day fast?

There is not much difference between a one-day fast and a 2-day fast. If you feel well before leaving a one-day fast (no severe headaches, nausea, etc.), you can postpone the exit from fasting to the next morning (you will get a 36-hour fast) or evening (2-day fast).

Based on how you feel, you can continue to abstain from food for up to 3 days, even if you have no previous experience of fasting or have little experience. But it is advisable to conduct a more thorough one.

If your health suddenly worsens and the measures taken (see the article Complications during fasting - what to do?) do not help, you should immediately stop fasting, without waiting for the planned date. An additional signal to break fasting is very dark or very cloudy urine.

If you are fasting on your own and doubt that everything is going well, for safety reasons you should interrupt the fast and try again later. It may take several one-day and two-day fasts before you can fast for 3 days.

The healing effect of 2-3 day fasting:

What happens during a 2-3 day fast:

On the second or third day, the secretion of the gastrointestinal tract changes qualitatively: the release of hydrochloric acid stops, the stomach begins to secrete proteins and unsaturated fatty acids, which:

  • promote the secretion of bile throughout the digestive system, even in the large intestine,
  • suppress the feeling of hunger.

The process of the body's transition to internal nutrition begins.

Conditions: All food and drinks other than water are prohibited.

Contraindications: There are quite a lot of them. For example, severe body weight deficiency, diabetes mellitus, ulcers, hypotension (low blood pressure), pregnancy, lactation. Before fasting, consult a doctor.

IMPORTANT CONDITION: The experiment is carried out under the supervision of specialists from the Prima Medica clinic.

Day 1 (weight 65.8 kg)

EASY

Test for ketone bodies:(shows the level of stress in the body): negative. There is no stress.
Blood sugar level: 4 mmol/l (within normal limits).

The experiment has begun! I feel cheerful and full of strength. I did my morning exercises without any problems and drank a glass of hot water instead of breakfast. I sat down to write an article and got so carried away that I didn’t even think about food. By 15:00 I went for examination to the medical center. All indicators turned out to be normal, but to be sure, I decided to talk to a specialist. During the conversation, I found out that in no health care system is fasting considered a medical procedure. This surprised me, because I always thought that not eating was healthy. The doctor convinced me that in three days there would be no serious changes in my body. Yes, your weight will decrease slightly, but this will happen due to the removal of salt, which retains excess water in the body.

At about 18:00 I agreed to meet my boyfriend in a cafe. I arrived a little earlier, ordered mineral water without gas and decided to read a magazine. It was then that the first attack of hunger of the day hit me. Satisfied people were sitting around me and, judging by the smell, they were eating something very tasty. I had to urgently pull myself together and order a kettle of boiling water. But when my beloved finally came, I was mentally ready to capitulate. My boyfriend interpreted my pained look in his own way and offered to choose the most beautiful cake. I courageously refused and spent the entire evening holding on to the young man as if glued, struggling not to accidentally snatch something particularly appetizing from his hands. However, hugs and kisses more than compensated for my feat.

I got home around 23:00. Surprisingly, I didn’t want to eat, but there was an unpleasant tug in the pit of my stomach. I drank a glass of water and quickly went to bed.

2nd day

ANNOYING

The morning began with weighing and measuring blood pressure. The second satisfied me, but the first disappointed me. The unfortunate three hundred grams I lost were clearly not what I expected. There was no feeling of hunger at all, but thirst tormented me with terrible force. I first drank a glass of cold water, and then, after thinking, hot, convincing myself that it was broth. Repeating like a mantra, “I don’t want to eat, I’ll be as slim as Megan Fox,” I went to the gym and worked out on the treadmill for 40 minutes. The feelings after the workout were, frankly, not pleasant: slight nausea and weakness - this is not what you dream of experiencing after a workout. I bought a liter of water right in the hall and drank it almost in one gulp.

I returned home at 14:00 and realized that I was really hungry. She opened the refrigerator and was glad that she had cleared the shelves in advance, otherwise she might well have lost her temper. I couldn’t have made it to the store even if I wanted to: I didn’t even have the strength to put on a jacket. I reached for the kettle, but changed my mind - the water no longer came into me. To distract myself from the painful hunger, I decided to watch a movie while lying on the couch. After lying in front of the TV until five, I remembered that I had agreed to meet a friend. With an effort of will, she forced herself to get up and get to the meeting place - a small bar in the city center. While I was drinking still water and talking about my experiment, my friend smiled sympathetically, enjoying Caesar and washing it down with wine. Several times I found myself “dropping out” of the conversation while staring at the fried pieces of chicken on her plate. I was also surprised to notice that from our conversation, which usually gave me pleasure, I felt only irritation. Moreover, I understood that there were no reasons for this, but I could not do anything. In the end, I apologized and went home, where I was going to read or watch something, but when I arrived, I immediately fell into bed. It was about 22:00.

Day 3 (weight 64.7 kg)

APATHETIC

Test for ketone bodies: negative.
Blood sugar level: 3.9 mmol/l (within normal limits).

Woke up at 11 am. I absolutely didn’t want to get up; I felt lethargic and exhausted. I decided not to do exercises and ignored the kettle of water. My stomach was constantly “pulling”, but I was already used to this feeling. In preparation for the experiment, I read reviews about fasting and found out that a week after giving up food, people begin to feel extraordinary lightness and bursts of inspiration. I think they either lied or my body is an exception to the rule. It is not clear how, against the backdrop of such a loss of strength, one can experience creative impulses. But I was pleased with the reflection in the mirror: no morning swelling of the eyelids, the skin was toned and smooth. This, according to doctors, is the result of excess salt leaving the body.

Work today turned out to be more difficult than usual. I could hardly concentrate on what I was doing, and several times I simply froze, not understanding why I opened this particular document or went to a page on the Internet. But the feeling of hunger somehow dulled and did not even remind itself during the day. Marvelous! At six in the evening I went to the clinic for the final examination. All indicators decreased slightly, but were within normal limits. I decided to find out what would happen if I continued to fast. “Your metabolism would slow down, meaning your heart rate, breathing and brain function would drop. The body would switch to an economical mode of spending resources,” cardiologist Ksenia Albitskaya explained to me. — It is important to understand that during prolonged fasting there are a number of rules that are recommended to be followed so as not to harm yourself. For example, you should not make sudden movements; If a fasting person walks quickly and then suddenly stops, he can easily lose consciousness.” Saying goodbye, gastroenterologist Olesya Taratina recalled: “Refusal of food requires the correct entry and exit. First, a person reduces the calorie content of the food he eats, then switches to juices, and only then stops eating. The exit accordingly occurs in the reverse order.”

In the evening, on the way home, I went into the store and, without looking at the tempting pies and buns, picked up a bag of carrots. I never liked carrot juice and decided to start my way out of fasting with it: after all, if I bought, for example, my favorite apples, I would be tempted to drink a lot and stretch my stomach. But after making fresh juice, I realized that there was something in the carrot taste. After a hunger strike, freshly squeezed juice seemed like an exquisite delicacy to me. For the first time in three days, I went to bed happy and content.

conclusions

I have learned from my own experience that refusing food is a serious stress. For example, before I didn’t even notice that there were so many fast food outlets in the city, but during the experiment it seemed to me that they came across my path on purpose. But the experience also had useful consequences. Firstly, now I try not only to have breakfast, lunch and dinner, but also, if possible, to have a snack a couple of times. Yes, yes, a rule familiar from kindergarten, but only now I realized that long breaks between meals greatly affect our performance and mood. Secondly, after fasting, I began to taste foods more clearly and enjoyed them more than usual. As it turns out, this effect can be achieved without radical measures: just eat slowly and not be distracted by books or TV. Thirdly, now I try not to overeat, because I finally understand what “lightness in the stomach” means. However, I won’t give up food completely either. Although all physical indicators remained normal, apathy and loss of strength reduced my vital activity to almost nothing. I didn’t want to work at all, or play sports, or communicate with loved ones - I’m not ready to make such sacrifices for the sake of losing weight. And I have absolutely no need to remember how many shawarma stalls there are in the city.

There are 2 types of fasting - dry fasting and water fasting. You can fast either one day a week or month, or for a longer period. In the first and second options, it is important to do it correctly so as not to harm your health. Dry fasting is very radical, so in this article we will talk about water fasting.

Fasting once a week on water: benefits

Water fasting - refusal of food (both solid and liquid). In simple words, we don’t eat anything, we drink only clean water without gas at room temperature. The daily norm is at least 1.5 l - 2 l. It is important to know that the amount of water you drink during your normal diet will not be enough, so we increase the drinking rate.

Water fasting: rules and precautions

Refusal to eat can be dangerous to health, so it should be done according to the rules. Along with some danger, fasting on water can have a cleansing and healing effect. Before you start fasting, be sure to CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR.

What can you expect during the fasting period?

You may experience sensations such as:

  • weakness;
  • dizziness;
  • headache;
  • nausea;
  • coating on the tongue or bad breath;
  • Bad mood.

Over time, with regular fasting, unpleasant sensations should not bother you.

How to break fasting correctly

It is best to end fasting in the evening. Try to go to bed early so that before going to bed you are not overwhelmed by thoughts of a delicious dinner. The next day after water fasting, consume fresh vegetables, fruits, vegetable and fruit juices. You can prepare a panicle salad - from kaputa, carrots, apples, with a spoon of olive oil. Boiled and stewed vegetables are also suitable. Avoid meat, eggs, milk and dairy products for at least 1-2 days. After fasting, try to restrain yourself and not indulge in food, do not overeat. Yes, it is difficult, but this is the secret of success and consolidation of the result. Continue to drink plenty of water.

What are the dangers of water fasting?

One-day fasting practically does not pose any harm to any person. But, in order to avoid unexpected and unpleasant consequences - consult your doctor.

Two- and three-day fasting

If after one day of fasting, you feel good and you have a desire to prolong the cleansing - you can continue. You can refuse food for 3 days - focus on your feelings. However, if you have little experience with fasting, still stop at one day. In the future, feel free to fast for 3 days in a row. If you start to feel unwell, immediately come out of fasting. Another signal that the experiment should be stopped- very cloudy or dark urine.

During a 2-3 day fast, immunity increases, the body is cleansed and rejuvenated, and the intestinal microflora improves. The skin begins to look better, acquires a healthy tone and a fresh appearance. Three-day fasting It will also help you get rid of addiction - drugs, tobacco, alcohol.

On the second and third days of fasting, The release of proteins and unsaturated fatty acids stops, the feeling of hunger is suppressed, the digestion process slows down, and the consumption of your own fats is activated.

Prepare for a three-day fast costs the same as for a one-day ticket.

Breaking out of fasting is a long process that requires preparation and certain knowledge, because the healing effect of fasting depends entirely on the correct way out of it.

The effect of fasting depends entirely on the correct exit from it

Let's consider the main stages of restoring all body functions.

Here are some useful tips on how to break fast correctly:

  • eat in small portions;
  • increase the amount of foods you consume little by little;
  • the recovery process after fasting takes the same amount of time as the cleansing process took;
  • immediately after breaking fast, you should give up protein foods, salt and all types of oils;
  • you need to start eating with juices diluted with water;
  • in the first weeks do not eat heavy foods;
  • The way out of water fasting is different in that you need to start the first day by drinking water. Drink boiled water, warmed to room temperature, 200-300 ml 5-6 times a day. And from the second day, do everything as if you were coming out of a 3-day fast.
  • restoration of the digestive process, cessation of nausea, increased gas formation;
  • cleansing mucous membranes;
  • reduction of allergic reactions;
  • cessation of headaches and dizziness associated with poor nutrition;
  • stabilization of blood pressure and blood sugar levels;
  • reduction of pain in joints and spine;
  • improved sleep;
  • increase in physical activity.

The famous American nutritionist Paul Breg believes that the main goal of the recovery process after fasting is to improve the quality of life in general, subject to the transition to a more balanced and healthy diet.

If you perceive this process only as a temporary hunger strike, it will not bring the desired result.

What does the body's recovery depend on?

In order to switch to internal nutrition, a person needs at least 4 days. This process lasts up to 7 days. The initial recovery phase after cleansing takes three to six days.

The process of switching to internal nutrition lasts up to 7 days

After a long cleanse, it takes two to four weeks to recover. The recovery process takes at least half of the period of cleansing the body or equal to it.

Let's look at how to get out of fasting correctly:

  • Eat in small portions, at least five times. Drink boiled water heated to room temperature. Do not add salt to food, do not eat oil. The menu includes only finely chopped carrots and cabbage. For lunch you can eat baked potatoes and salad, after lunch - vegetables and fruits.
  • Eat liquid porridge without adding oil, and also drink freshly squeezed juices, vegetables, and fruits.
  • You can afford a teaspoon of olive oil, dried bread, honey, walnuts. The consumption of dairy products is also allowed. During this period, you can switch to a normal diet.

Wellness treatments

  • Be sure to walk and breathe fresh air.
  • Cleansing the mouth with soda solution in the first three days.
  • Enema, in the event that emptying does not occur naturally on the 2nd day after breaking fast.

How long does it take to switch to a new regime?

How to get out of fasting? It depends on the number of days that were spent cleansing the body.

  1. Diet after fasting for 3 to 5 days:
  2. Nutrition after fasting for 5 days:
    • On day 1 – drink vegetable juice.
    • On days 2-3 – eat ripe fruits and drink juice.
    • At 4 – we return to the normal diet.
  3. 1st option after 7 days of cleansing:
    • Day 1 – drink freshly prepared juice (5 times 200 ml), do not forget to dilute it with water.
    • Day 2 – drink undiluted juice 2 times in the morning. During the day, eat grated fruits and vegetables.
    • Day 3 – you need to eat liquid porridge without oil, dried fruits, chopped fresh vegetables.
    • Day 4 – steamed vegetables, vegetable soups, ripe fruits.
    • Day 5 – use your choice of kefir, yogurt, low-fat cottage cheese, and a little butter.
    • Day 6 – you are allowed to add salt and eat hard cheese.
    • Day 7 – You can eat soft-boiled eggs.
  4. 2nd option for breaking a 7-day fast:
    • Day 1 – you need to start with oatmeal jelly, it is consumed in the morning and afternoon. You can also add fruit or vegetable juice diluted with water for lunch, and juice again for dinner.
    • Day 2 – drink juices, only more concentrated ones, alternating with oatmeal jelly.
    • Day 3 – take ripe fruits and dried fruits steamed with boiling water. During the day we eat fruits and diluted juice, in the evening we eat a vegetable salad.
    • Day 4 – drink kefir or yogurt with the addition of bifidobacteria. For lunch - salad, some potatoes with a teaspoon of olive oil, in the evening - salad or fruit.
    • On the 5th day you need to include a small portion of cottage cheese in the menu, for lunch - buckwheat porridge without butter, for dinner - vegetable salad, grated cheese.
    • On day 6, add a soft-boiled egg with herbs to the diet. During the day we eat fruits, stewed vegetables, vegetable soup, and in the evening we eat fish baked with vegetables.
    • On the 7th day you need to eat yogurt or kefir. For lunch - salad, 100 g of boiled chicken, for dinner - vegetables and fruits.

    After a seven-day fast, the digestive system needs more time to recover than with fewer days of fasting. You need to eat small portions at least five times a day.

  5. After breaking a 10-day fast, according to Paul Bragg’s method, the main thing is not to eat more than you want:
    • Ten days of fasting are not much different from seven days. After completion, on the 1st day, eat 4-5 pieces of steamed tomatoes.
    • Start the 2nd day with grated carrots and chopped cabbage, with a few drops of orange. Add a portion of stewed greens, peeled tomatoes, and a slice of bread. In the afternoon - grated carrots with herbs and a few drops of orange juice, vegetable salad.
    • On the 3rd day, eat ripe fruits, sprouted wheat grains, one tablespoon of honey, vegetable salad, and a slice of dried bread.
    • Do not forget that in 10 days you have become weaned from food and therefore do not feel particularly hungry.

    You should not be afraid of even a long cleansing process. It protects health and allows the body to rest and enable the self-healing process. The most important thing is to choose the right foods and eat them in moderation.

    For the self-healing process, the most important thing is to choose the right products

  6. G. Sheldon recommends leaving after twenty days of cleansing like this:

  8. What should you not eat after fasting?

    After fasting, during the period of bringing all systems (primarily the digestive) into normal mode, it is strictly forbidden to do things that can harm health and sometimes endanger life.

  • overeating is unacceptable - leads to nausea, vomiting, intestinal dysfunction;
  • introducing salty foods into the diet - retains water in the body, leading to swelling of the extremities, the appearance of bags under the eyes, and headaches;
  • eating protein foods can lead to a state of intoxication;
  • Eating white bread and other carbohydrate foods cause capillary spasms, weakness, and heartburn. Eating such food may make you feel dizzy;
  • drinking alcohol causes intoxication, severe stomach pain and can lead to inflammation of the pancreas;
  • Eating heavy food in large quantities leads to rapid weight gain (about one kilogram per week), which is undesirable for those who are prone to obesity.

Despite the fact that the body began to work better during fasting, one should not neglect a healthy approach to nutrition and reduce the ability of all systems to heal themselves.
