Analyzes. Where can I get a blood test for a fee? Choosing a laboratory diagnostic center Clinic for testing

A biochemical blood test is an important study that allows doctors to study the cellular composition of the blood to identify changes in its parameters, which will help determine the presence of certain diseases. A timely blood test will help the doctor identify pockets of inflammation in the body even before the first symptoms of disease appear.

Where to do a biochemical blood test in Moscow and how to prepare for it?

Preparing for this procedure is not difficult. Blood is donated on an empty stomach - many specialized laboratories therefore begin work at seven in the morning, so that patients can get tested before work and have time to have breakfast. It is recommended to avoid fatty, salty, fatty foods, alcoholic drinks, energy drinks, heavy foods, strong coffee and tea 12 hours before donating blood. It is better to avoid intense physical activity and severe stress the day before, as these actions can distort the real picture of the tests. It is only permissible to drink pure mineral water.

To conduct a biochemical analysis, the doctor takes blood from a vein - usually located in the area of the elbow. Before this, the sampling area is treated with alcohol, after which a syringe with a long needle or its more modern versions is used. As a rule, the test result will be ready within a day after the test. Some private clinics are ready to offer the result and interpretation of a biochemical blood test within a few hours.

Patients can donate blood for biochemical analysis in many laboratories in the city, as well as in medical centers collected on our portal. Unfortunately, not all clinics are ready to offer this service, so you need to pay special attention to this point when choosing a medical institution.

What does a standard biochemical blood test show?

During the diagnostic process, the doctor studies many important indicators, on the basis of which pathological deviations in activity are identified. Among them the following can be noted:

  • Blood glucose - allows you to diagnose diabetes mellitus and select the optimal therapy for further treatment, evaluate the effectiveness of already prescribed procedures.
  • Some liver dysfunctions and endocrine diseases lead to low glucose levels. Normal values depend on the age of the patient.
  • General bilirubin is a special yellow blood pigment formed during the breakdown of hemoglobin, cytochromes and myoglobin. An increase in its amount is characteristic of damage to liver cells, impaired outflow of bile and increased breakdown of red blood cells.
  • Normal values of total bilirubin: 3.4 - 17.1 µmol/l.
  • Total protein - the indicator reflects the amount of proteins, a decrease in which is typical for some kidney and liver diseases.

An increase is present in infectious and inflammatory processes, blood diseases. Normal values for total protein: 66-83 g/l.

Cholesterol is a blood lipid that comes from food and is also synthesized by liver cells.

Normal cholesterol levels: 3.2-5.6 mmol/l.

Creatinine - plays an important role in tissue energy metabolism. Its presence and concentration in the blood is of greatest importance in the diagnosis of kidney diseases, since it must be completely excreted by the kidneys. Normal creatinine values: men - 62 – 115 µmol/l; women - 53 - 97 µmol/l.

More and more people today are doing tests in clinical laboratories in Moscow. This provokes an increase in the number of data from medical institutions. Some of them even have hundreds of branches outside the capital.

Modern clinical laboratories have long gone beyond just basic research. Here you can not only donate blood and biomaterials for analysis, but also receive many other services. Specialists conduct cytological, histological, immunological studies, identify the level of certain hormones in the body, conduct allergy tests, etc. Some clinical laboratories in Moscow also offer more complex procedures, such as diagnosing the liver without performing a biopsy. In addition, here you can conduct a study of the dysbiotic state of the mucous membranes.

Innovative technologies allow Moscow laboratories to conduct complex analyses. For example, here it is possible to detect the presence of hereditary diseases even in newly born babies. And of course, research is conducted to determine biological motherhood and paternity.

Many clinical laboratories in Moscow collect materials even at the patient’s home, which can be very convenient when examining older people. The system for obtaining results is no less convenient: to do this, you just need to go to your personal account on the institution’s website or check your email. Some clinics have gone even further and, in addition to conducting tests, offer consultation with specialized specialists or functional diagnostics. Here you can obtain a medical record or undergo a preventive examination.

General clinical studies allow one to obtain a comprehensive understanding of the physical, chemical and microscopic characteristics of the biomaterial being studied. During the study, the properties of blood, sputum, urine, feces, discharge from the genitourinary organs, cerebrospinal fluid and other physiological fluids are analyzed. General clinical studies are the most frequently prescribed laboratory tests to begin a diagnostic search and conduct medical examination. "LabQuest Laboratory" offers to take a blood test and other biomaterial for general clinical examination. You can take blood tests at any medical center in the network.

Each organism is unique in its set of antigens. An individual set of antigens determines many characteristics of a person, including blood type and its Rh factor. Immunohematological studies are carried out if hospitalization or surgery is planned. Testing is urgently necessary before blood transfusion, tissue or internal organ transplantation. Also, immunohematological studies are of high clinical importance during the preparation and management of pregnancy.

During hemostasiological studies, the state of the blood coagulation system is assessed and disturbances in its functioning are identified. It is necessary to take blood tests during preparation for pregnancy, in the presence of coagulation pathologies, vitamin K deficiency, antiphospholipid syndrome and a number of other diseases. Timely identification of problems in the hemostatic system and adequate treatment helps to avoid the development of serious complications. Pathological conditions include both a decrease (hypocoagulation) and an increase in coagulability (hypercoagulation).

Why do biochemical blood tests take place? Blood biochemistry is aimed at identifying problems in the functioning of internal organs, assessing the metabolism of proteins, lipids and carbohydrates, and determining the body's need for microelements. It is recommended to undergo a preventive examination annually to monitor your health status. Also, a biochemical blood test is prescribed for patients who have suffered a somatic or infectious disease. During the study, a number of parameters are determined: glucose, total protein, cholesterol, triglycerides, creatinine, urea, enzymes and some others.

Hormones are highly active biological substances that are produced by the endocrine glands. Hormones regulate metabolic processes, ensure the body's response to external influences, and control growth, development and aging. With dysfunction of one or another organ responsible for the production of hormones, the overall hormonal balance is disrupted. Hormonal blood tests are prescribed by an endocrinologist, neurologist, gynecologist, urologist, gastroenterologist and other specialized specialists.

Tumor markers are proteins secreted by malignant cells in significant quantities. Tumor marker studies are used in clinical practice for differential diagnosis, monitoring the progress of treatment, assessing its effectiveness, and identifying relapses. We offer tests in Moscow for markers of malignant neoplasms of various locations (thyroid, prostate, pancreas and mammary glands, gastrointestinal tract, lungs and other organs). The results of laboratory tests for tumor markers are not the only criterion taken into account by the attending physician when making a diagnosis, but can be used as additional studies in combination with other diagnostic methods.

Autoimmune diseases are manifested by the production of antibodies that cause inflammation in the body’s own tissues and destroy them. Autoimmune pathologies occur in approximately 5% of the population. These diseases develop in women somewhat more often than in men. The pathology can involve the tissues of one or more organs, causing various clinical symptoms. Laboratory tests for autoimmune diseases are used to diagnose them, select an effective treatment method, and make a prognosis.

To make a microbiological diagnosis, a bacteriological examination is prescribed to isolate bacteria and study their properties. To properly undergo bacteriological tests, you need to consult a doctor.

The blood test procedure involves studying a huge number of different parameters. Therefore, if your doctor recommends that you get tested, do not refuse.

A blood test may be ordered several times to determine changes in the current state of the body or evaluate the effectiveness of treatment.

Blood tests are divided into 3 main groups:

  • Clinical analysis. A general blood test, which allows you to evaluate the number and ratio of leukocytes, erythrocytes and platelets, identify hemoglobin content and consider the leukocyte formula and ESR (erythrocyte sedimentation rate). A clinical blood test can identify inflammatory processes, anemia and other diseases.
  • Biochemical analysis. A blood test aimed at identifying functional abnormalities in the functioning of specific organs and systems. The diagnostic method allows you to identify an imbalance of microelements, kidney and liver diseases, the presence of rheumatic and inflammatory processes, as well as assess the stage of the disease.
  • Hormonal analysis. A blood test to determine the content of thyroid hormones, sex hormones: testosterone, prolactin, progesterone, FSH, LH and others. This diagnostic method allows you to identify diseases of the reproductive system, thyroid gland, and other organs and systems.

Preparing for tests

1. Blood test.
This is the most common and revealing medical analysis. You can donate blood from a finger or from a vein, it doesn’t matter, but before taking them there are several uniform preparation rules.

Blood tests that are recommended to be taken “on an empty stomach”: - biochemical - glucose, cholesterol, bilirubin, etc. - serological tests - syphilis, hepatitis B, hormones, etc. "Fasting" is when there is a period between the last meal and taking blood from a vein. at least 8 hours (preferably about 12 hours). Juice, tea, coffee, incl. with sugar, not allowed. You can drink still water. It is advisable to exclude fatty, fried and alcohol from the diet 1 - 2 days before the examination.

When taking blood tests for the hormonal profile in women of reproductive age (from approximately 13 to 14 years of age until menopause), their results are influenced by physiological factors associated with the phases of the menstrual cycle. Therefore, when preparing for examination for the hormones FSH, LH, prolactin, progesterone, estradiol, 17-OH-progesterone, androstenedione, inhibin, AMH, the day of the cycle should be indicated. When conducting a test for sex hormones, strictly adhere to the recommendations of your gynecologist regarding the day of the monthly cycle on which this test is required. Blood should not be donated on the day after an x-ray, rectal examination, or physical therapy procedures or sports competitions.

2. What blood tests are not anonymous?
In a number of clearly defined cases, the laboratory will ask you for your last name, first name, patronymic, and date of birth - without these data, the research results will be considered invalid. Tests in Moscow indicating passport data are needed for hospitalization in a hospital, before surgery, in the Federal Migration Service of the Russian Federation, and in some other places. You can take an urgent blood test every day from 10-00 to 12-00.

3. Testing for infections.
Tests from the genital organs are taken directly by the doctor in the office and determine diseases that are transmitted intimately. Before taking a smear from the urethra (urethra), men are advised to abstain from sexual intercourse for 2-3 days, wash before taking it and not urinate for 2-3 hours. The female smear requires similar rules: abstinence, washing and refusal to urinate. Also, the day before your visit to the laboratory, do not insert vaginal suppositories. Collection of secretions for laboratory diagnostics from women and virgin girls performed by an experienced and good specialist is a quick and painless procedure.

To obtain reliable results, medical tests to identify pathogens of bacterial infections should best be taken no earlier than 1-1.5 weeks after the last use of antibacterial drugs. The collection of scrapings for PCR diagnostics from women and men, as well as teenage girls, is carried out throughout the entire working day of the clinic.
