The rating we bring to your attention is compiled on the basis of official statistical reports from civil registry offices of several regions of the Russian Federation with a predominant Russian population and the cities of Moscow, St. Petersburg, Minsk for 2010-2016 (data for 2017 are currently available only for certain regions, ).

All names are divided into five conditional groups: the most popular (1-30th place), popular (31-60th place), less popular (61-85th place), rare and very rare names.
