The production workshop is equipped with equipment manufactured in Russia, Denmark, France, Italy, and Spain.

The launch of the production process made it possible to create 30 jobs with an average wages 55 thousand rubles, in the near future their number will increase to 70. Contracts for the supply of raw materials, containers and packaging have already been concluded with leading Russian manufacturers. Engineering infrastructure is 80% from domestic suppliers.

“At the first stage, 1.8 billion rubles were disbursed, and the total investment volume for the project will be 3.5 billion rubles. A Russian enterprise in this market is a big step forward, especially an enterprise that specializes specifically in feed and was created according to latest technologies. All experts talk about the underutilization of the Russian market and its fairly high dependence on imports,” Butsayev said.

According to him, this is extremely promising direction. The processing plant is one link in the chain. The next ones should be enterprises for the procurement of ingredients that are used in the production of final products, and then this should go down to the level of agricultural enterprises that directly prepare raw materials for production. There are already factories of this type in the Moscow region, but this is the first Russian one. Construction of the plant lasted two years, during which the owner of the production, PetCorm LLC, invested a total of almost 2 billion rubles in the construction of the building and its technical equipment.

The building is located on an area of ​​10,400 m2, it contains office and production premises and a state-of-the-art warehouse. Currently, the plant employs 37 people, but when it reaches full capacity, PetCorm will provide residents of nearby settlements more than 80 jobs. “Most of the employees are from Dmitrov,” says Robert. - We have organized transport for them, so that it is convenient for everyone to get to work. Of course, like everywhere else, it’s not easy with personnel, but we are gradually coping with this issue.”

The PetKorm plant will produce wet canned food. Its current maximum capacity is 10,000 tons per year, or 200 cans per minute. Until mid-September, the plant is operating in test mode: recipes developed by qualified technologists are being perfected and debugged production processes. Russian and foreign specialists are working on setting up production.

We assess our potential objectively - “PetKorm” will be able to provide 3% of the market for wet canned pet food in Russia,” says Oleg Arustamov.

And very soon all this will hit the shelves of Russian pet stores.

The PetKorm plant will give priority to the production of private feed brands- About a hundred customers are already waiting for its full-fledged work to begin. Granulated feed particles are cooled using air flows from a cooling column fan. Then, the granules undergo a cleaning process to remove substandard waste and enter the packaging unit. Granular feed is packaged in 10 or 50 kg bags.
